New Zealand - 2004-11-05 - 3 - Te Paki - Sandboarding
The sandboarding was a huge rush. We rented sandboards from the station
for $10, then drove to the sand dunes by Te Paki. We first tried a shorter
hill & that went great, so we graduated right to the almost straight down
highest hill. We did that 3 times. In the first 3 pictures on the second
row you can see our tracks in the background. Climbing the hills takes
about 10 minutes & it takes about 5 seconds to go down them. I would do
it again in a heartbeat.
