New Zealand - 2004-11-11 - 1 - Rotorua - Skyline's Gondola & Luge Rides
Skyline is a park with several things you can do. First you take a Gondola
ride to the top of the hill, which is where I got most of the nature pictures.
Once at the top of the hill we were able to do 5 luge rides. A luge is
where you get on this little cart & go down a hill. All the way forward
is park, back is brake & the middle is neutral. Adam, Aaron & I raced
all five times down the hill. There were 3 tracks (Scenic, Intermediate
& Advanced). The funny thing is that the best track to race on is the
scenic track (its also the longest). I wrecked the first time down the
scenic tract leaving me with 3 bruises (hip, arm & leg). It was a really
fun experience & I would do it again for sure.
