New Zealand - 2004-11-27 - 1 - Puke Pub & Possum Museum - Animals & Menu
This was rather interesting stop. Outside the first thing you see is a
turkey & some other animals. When you enter you can purchase anything
from the puke pub menu. Most of it is making possum's into food. This
place really hates possum (as does all of New Zealand). They also have
a boar that one person gets to feed (Harvey - UK in this case). Lastly
you watch a 30 minute video of how the New Zealand deer hunters got the
deer population under control. I did not try to possum pie but others
did & they said it tasted like rubber.
