New Zealand - 2004-12-21 - 2 - Auckland - Night Out at Base Bar
Several of the people from the room (Mark - UK, Kate, UK, John - Canadian)
& myself went out for a drink at the club at the bottom of our hostel.
There we also met up with Yusef (Holland) who I had met in Taupo a few
days earlier. We ended up staying there most of the night. There was a
single elimination pool competition for a $25 bar tab. I was able to win
it & we got the option to double it if I found 2 people who would show
there underwear (which was the party theme for the night). Yusef & John
both agreed to do it & we got the $50 bar tab. Although I think we went
through that in about 30 minutes, but oh well. After showing his underwear
John decided to continue in just his underwear, which got us other stuff,
like the export gold straw hat. It was a fun night out.
