Australia - 2005-02-13 - 4 - Sydney - Oz Exp - Harbour Bridge & Opera House
The next stop was at the base of the Harbour Bridge which allowed us to
take pictures of the Opera House & Harbour Bridge. After looking around
the area below the bridge we were taken to the North side of the bridge
where we all walked across it. Both of my parents were impressed by the
size & construction of the bridge. Also pictured is Fort Denison, which
is a little fort in the middle of the harbour. It was hit by friendly
fire & has never fired a shot in battle. The last stop for the day was
Mrs. Macquaries Point which is another view of the city. Also pictured
is the Morton Bay Fig tree which was a tree that my dad had found interesting
& flowers that my mom liked.
