Australia - 2005-02-19 - 4 - Booderee National Park - Bristol Point & Kangaroos
The last stop of the day was the Booderee National Park. Had the weather
been better we would have been able to do a lot more. However, it was
raining & lightening really bad so we only spent a few minutes at one
of the beaches. Bristol point was very nice though, it was very white,
white sand. Dad looked for sea shells & mom took in the view & water.
After that we went out to the lighthouse on the coast, but the weather
was too bad to do the walk to it. However, on the way there & back we
got our first pictures of wild kangaroos. Mom had briefly spotted some
earlier in the day. They were not especially timid, but did also not let
us watch them for very long before hoping away.
