Australia - 2005-02-21 - 1 - Cooma - Bunkhouse Motel
The bunkhouse motel was a nice place to stay as was the city of Cooma.
We had originally planned on doing 2 nights here. However, under the advice
of one of Aussie friends, we decided to do only one night here. That allowed
us to be in Jindabyne, which is much closer for exploring the Snowy Mountains.
It turned out to be very good advice & saved us a lot of driving (Thanks
Steve!). The setup of our Cooma room was interesting as each room had
a double bed, with a single bed above it, but offset a little. In my parents
room there was also another single bed. The room could have slept 7 people,
but it gave us a lot of space which was nice. I also got a double bed
which was great to sleep on for a change :)
