Australia - 2005-02-22 - 3 - Snowy Mountains - Hydro Electric Scheme
On our way back down the mountains we stopped at part of the Snowy Hydro
Electric Scheme. On a sign it said that it was consider one the eight
wonders of the modern engineering world. The lookout there also provided
for a great view of the surrounding area including Lake Jindabyne. The
original city of Jindabyne is under this lake as it was created for the
project. The new city is now a little off the lake.
