Australia - 2005-02-23 - 7 - Alpine Highway - Scamells Ridge Lookout
The first designated lookout we found on the Alpine Highway was after
almost a 100 kilometers of driving. However, it was really nice & provided
a nice view of the surrounding mountains. On the way back through we stopped
& had a picnic at the lookout. The flies were not quite as bad here so
that made it nice too. The last picture is another panoramic view that
I took which is cool (but it is not Charlotte Pass).
