It is always interesting to meet people from a country where numerous people are traveling (like England) for many reasons. But one is that they always seem to running into people from home that they know. As I always used to tell people that is just something that would never happen to me. On the 3rd I decided to get a massage at the hostel before going to the Grand Prix Free Day. Well I had to wait for a few minutes to get in to see the massage therapist. Funny thing was when the door opened it was someone I knew from home, Vanessa Embling. I had found out (coincidentally enough) through our massage therapist that I was going traveling. She then asked me for information & advice before I left. We had also e-mailed along the way, but determined that our paths were not going to cross. It was unbelievable, we both were both so totally surprised, but we knew each other right away. So after getting my massage I met up with Vanessa & spent the day with her & her friends. It was really nice to hear about things at home & I felt so comfortable around her. To be honest there are people there are probably about 50 people I have met traveling who I would say I know better than her. But it is just different to talk to someone you know from home, it is something that is really tough to explain. It was also really nice timing because I had been a little depressed since my parents left it just seemed to get me over that rough patch. We spent the day watching qualifying for Sunday's race, watching other races, walking the grounds, looking at cars & telling each other how our trips had been going. It was a really nice relaxing day. The last picture was taken on the walk home, & is just something I thought deserved a photograph.

On the bad new front 375 people (including 200 full-time people) at Lands' End are losing there job & the Cross Plains call center is being closed. My heart goes out to all of you who are losing your job. If there is anything I can do to help you out, please let me know.
