Australia - 2005-03-10 - 1 - Melbourne - Free Tram & St. Kilda
Brettina (from Germany) & myself used the free tram to get to the Victoria
markets & to St. Kilda. The Victoria markets were the first international
markets I had been to. There was about everything you could want there
& a lot at very good prices. Although I would have been worried about
the quality of a lot of things I could have bought. We got some fruits
& after wandering through the market got back on the tram. Although, we
actually had to run to catch the one that was there when we got there,
but it made it more memorable. In St. Kilda we strolled along the beach
for a while before walking out the dock. There were some very nice views
of the city from there. After that we caught some food in St. Kilda before
going back to the hostel.
