Australia - 2005-03-23 - 2 - Tasmania - Drive Scenery
Driving from Cradle Mountain across the state to the east coast presented
numerous picture opportunities. The first were at the Mersey river, which
was in one of the many valleys we went through in the first part of the
drive. When driving in Tasmania you usually spend most of your time going
up or down a hill. The rest of the pictures are from lookout points along
the way, some of which I do not remember the names for. The Springfield
lookout (near the city of Springfield) is the last one & was about 2/3's
of the way to the east coast, it provided the best lookout view of the
day. To give you an idea of how small Tasmania, we went across 2/3's of
it in about 5 hours :)
