Australia - 2005-03-31 - Melbourne - City Sight Seeing
When I got back from Melbourne I spent the first few days catching up
on e-mail's & pictures. I was also trying to figure out how I was going
to do the rest of my Australia trip. I also played soccer & caught up
on some sleep after Tasmania. This days site seeing included going to
the Australian Center for the Moving Image, which was really lame. The
second stop was the Ian Potter Centre for Art, which was very well done
& had lots of beautiful pieces. After that Adrian (from Germany who I
had met in Tasmania), Miriam (from England who I had met first time in
Melbourne) & myself went to the Sofitel Melbourne, which allows you to
go up it & check out the view from its bathroom. It is safe to say I have
never had a better view from a Men's room that I did here. After that
we went back to the hostel to get ready for the pub crawl that night.
The first stop on the pub crawl was a bar that had been converted from
a prison. I had very interesting bathrooms (an apparent theme for the
day).
