Australia - 2005-04-04 - 4 - You Yangs Regional Park - Big Rock
Our first stop West of Melbourne was at the You Yangs Regional Park. The
trip there was an adventure as the signs were not the best & we ended
up taking the really long way to get there (an extra 20 kilometers). But
it was fun & we got to see more of the country that way ;) Once at You
Yangs we stopped at the information center to find out about the park.
We found out that it was free to stay at & go to almost all the parks
in Victoria, which was good news for our budget. We then headed up to
the Big Rock. It was really huge & afforded good views of the surrounding
area.
