Australia - 2005-04-04 - 5 - You Yangs Regional Park - Flinders Peak
After the easy walk to Big Rock we were in for a bit more of a leg stretcher.
We decided to tackle the 800 steps (by that I mean actual step ups, plus
a lot of other trail). We walked the first 2/3's of it & decided that
we should run the last 1/3. It was a good run, although we did stop part
of the way into it to checkout the lower lookout. We then continued onto
the top & were rewarded with a nice view. Although I thought the lower
lookout was better for what you saw. When we got back down to the parking
lot Adrian decided he wanted to climb the rock right in front of were
we parked & I decided to get him after the 10 second effort :)
