Australia - 2005-04-06 - 1 - Bawron Heads - The Bluff Marine Reserve Area
Not quite to the Great Ocean Road is Bawron Heads, which is a really small
town. There is a marine reserve & lookout area there which we went too,
as recommended by Lonely Planet. It was a nice little spot & made for
a nice short walk. The plaque (first picture - second row) says that it
is considered a ships graveyard because of all the ships that have not
been able to navigate through the area. There are quite a few locations
along the Great Ocean Road that are like this.
