Australia - 2005-04-07 - 2 - Apollo Bay - Mariner's Lookout
Lonely Planet recommended that we go the Mariner's Lookout to get a great
view & they were correct. It was a short walk to the top after driving
most of the way. On the way up we met a really friendly goat who I took
some pictures of. I drove the truck back down the steep hill which was
cool. The truck we bought is a manual, so that meant I got to really practice
driving a manual as I had only done it about 4 times back home. Within
a few days I was doing pretty well, it does make driving more interesting
& keeps you a little more into it that an automatic would.
