Australia - 2005-04-11 - Victoria - Drive & Sunset
After spending our second night in Dunkeld, we back tracked to Hamilton
to see about getting our registration changed in Victoria. However, we
found out that this would simply cost to much money to do. We also found
out that we needed to stay in New South Wales one night to prove residency
before we could get the registration changed. As it worked this meant
the closest alternative was Wentworth, which was almost 500 kilometers
away. We decided to do the drive which was a really boring drive as it
was anyway. We got the tires all filled with air, the engine filled with
oil & the car filled with petrol before heading out (Mom & Dad
would be so proud!). The first picture is from the road showing what we
saw almost the entire way. The second picture is of a rather cool sign,
too bad it was for McDonalds :) The last 4 pictures are of the first sun
set we consider to be an Aussie sunset. It was very cool with the trees,
big sky, colors & the moon. The pictures really don't do it much justice.
We also found our that we had to eat all of our fruit (we had a lot because
we had just stocked up on it in Hamilton). We had to eat supper early
to use all of the vegetables that we want to use. We also ate all the
grapes & most of what else we could. Although as it ended up we had
to through away 2 oranges & 2 apples. Later on we were at a store
where the fruit had been grown locally & it was terrible. It was covered
