Australia - 2005-04-26 - 2 - Victoria River - Victoria River Crossing
After Edith falls we went back to Katherine & did some errands like filling
our propane cooker, getting ice, & Internet. The other thing I did was
call my mom for her birthday (it was the 25th back home). She was really
surprised because I told her I probably would not be able to call (which
it just happened to work out that I was in a place where I could). After
that we started the long drive towards Western Australia. After a long
time we stopped at the Victoria River crossing, which was on the map but
I didn't think was that special. It is fairly big so I guess it must have
been a feat to crossing the day, but now you just go over a bridge.
