After staying the night at Kalimina, which was nice place to stay, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Adrian went for a morning wake up swim & I went back to bed for a few more Z's. After catching breakfast we then packed up the the truck early enough to not get caught camping overnight at the park. Although staying in the truck really isn't camping because we didn't setup anything outside. We didn't go to an assigned camping area because it would have cost money for nothing more than we got from this area. We also picked to stay here in park because it was an attraction that was by itself & off the main road. The more you do this the better you get :) I am not promoting being a freeloader, just saying in our particular situation it would do us no good to pay the money for a site when we had everything we wanted here & we also got to be away from all the other people. There is something to be said for having your own spot.
I saw more beautiful sunrises in Australia than anywhere else. I think the dramatic landscape is part of the reason. The other is that we traveled by the light so we went to bed early enough to be up for them. Sometimes being in the truck the light would also wake us up, it is not exactly being in a room where no light gets in. Either way it made for several inspiring mornings.
