Australia - 2005-05-23 - 1 - Shannon National Park - Friends & Boorara Tree
The night before when we came back we saw a couple who were going on the
walk as darkness fell. We told them how far they had to go so they took
some flashlights & went on the walk. The next morning we talked to them
for a while. They were from the Adelaide area & had been to Japan so Sayoko
& them had a good talk. After that we took a look at the Boorara tree
which was right where we had slept the night before. It was another fire
spotting tree, but again we did not climb it due to the slippery pegs
from the rain.
