Australia - 2005-05-24 - 6 - Albany - Mt. Clarence & Anzac Memorial
Once into Albany we stopped at the visitor center to get a feel for what
there was to do in Albany & to find out if I would be able to see Star
Wars 3. One of the things they suggested at the visitor center was to
go see the a couple lookouts. The first was the view at Mt. Clarence &
to check out the Anzac Memorial. Anzac stands for Australia-New Zealand
Army Corps & there are monuments in so many places in Australia & New
Zealand. We were able to see the city below, the Princess Royal Harbour
& peninsula that contains Torndirrup National Park which is where we had
spent the morning. The view was even better considering how overcast the
day was.
