The second & last stop for the day was the Devil's slide walk. This was interesting in part because it was Sayoko's first real hike. The path from the parking area is a road, which you follow for quite a while. The first 4 pictures are of this part of the walk which was pretty easy. The second part of the walk is much tougher & is where you walk on the rocks for most of the walk which could be very slippery at times. The walk to get to the top was great, it provided views as you went, had different terrain & gave you sites to look at. The last 3 rows of the first page & most of the rest of the second page is the view from the top including some majestic panoramic views. We spent a long time at the top. There are so many points where you can go when you are up there & they all provide a unique view. The last row of the second page & the third page is all of the walk back down. It was great walk & ended up being on of Sayoko's favorite from the entire trip.
After getting back to camp we decided that we would stay the night because there was a little shelter & a toilet there, plus it was just a nice place. For supper Sayoko made curry chicken which was SO good. I have a weak stomach, but I could eat her curry all the time. After that we made camp & got some sleep so we would be ready for the next day.
