Australia - 2005-05-26 - 1 - Stirling Ranges National Park - Park Drive & Lookout
We got lost a couple times trying to come around the west side of the
Stirling Ranges National Park. We were out in back roads in the middle
of nowhere, but when we talked to someone we found out that we were actually
at just about the right place. The funny thing was that we had changed
roads several time & I was mainly guessing especially towards the end
based off of the direction I felt we should be going. The real problem
was that the map didn't have the roads on there other than one main road.
After getting into the park we saw some nice sites along the side of the
road & did a stop at the first lookout. The views in the park were off
to a really nice start & would continue to impress. It is really nice
when you consider that around the ranges is very flat.
