Australia - 2005-06-07 - 2 - The Kimberly - Drive to Tunnel Creek National Park
After getting all packed up & leaving Lillimooloora Station we headed
towards Tunnel Creek. The road itself is a rough one, marked with tons
of dips in the road, where you have to slow down to 1st or 2nd gear to
get through without breaking the truck. A lot of the dips in the road
were not marked which would make the truck fly at some points. There were
pot holes all over the road which you hit all the time. One thing is if
you go fast you almost fly over the holes. Having to slow down for the
dips makes the pot holes worse. The pictures on this page are all on the
road to Tunnel Creek. There are hills, trees, & grass all the way along
the trail. The limestone cliffs got more clear all the way along until
we got to Tunnel Creek.
