Bali - 2005-06-23 to 2005-06-26 - Kuta - Hotel, City & Beach

Here are the pictures of the first 4 days in Bali. I had lost my camera just before leaving Australia so I had one disposable camera to use for the pictures. The first 2 pictures show the outside of my room & lobby at the Troppo Zone. The next picture was taken at the 2002 Bali bombing memorial which listed all the people who were killed & what country they were from. It is important because it shows the Bali was not the only place affected. Although Bali's economy was hit hard by this bombing people from so many countries were killed. The next 2 pictures were to show the scooters & streets. Scooter are all over, it is the main form of transport for most people. The last 2 pictures are from the beach. What is difficult to see is that the land extends out onto the sea & that is the where the airplanes fly in at. The story of Kuta is under a different section which is the story of June 23 to June 26.
