Eve made 22 single layer cakes which when stacked together equaled 11 white & chocolate cakes. She had did all the baking of these cakes & made several pounds of frosting earlier in the week. This day was set aside for just frosting & decorating the cakes. She arrived at my Mom & Dad's house at about 9am. Sayoko was there & ended up being her helper all day long which she said made a big difference as Eve could focus on the decorating while Sayoko got cakes & loaded the frosting bag, among other things. Eve had brought tons of frosting, but ended up needing more even requiring a run to the grocery store for more powdered sugar. In total the frosting used 38 pounds of powdered sugar! Once getting the main part frosted she added the purple decorations to finish the cakes. It took a lot longer than she had anticipated as she did not leave until after 4pm, which made her late for practice with Kari for singing at the church.

After that Dad, Sayoko & I got the cakes loaded in the Durango, as you can see from the pictures it is nice to have a vehicle where the seats fold down. We successfully got the cakes delivered to the Bowling Alley for the next day without any incidents :)
